Nestled on the south shore of beautiful Kauai is the canoe house located at exclusive clubhouse at Kukui'ula Resort..  The building consists of 75% recycled lumber, Hawaiian native wood poles, FCS plywood cabinets, all waterborne finish. The counters are the recycled Punahou gym floors , which president Obama used to practice and play games on as a high school student. The building represents the era in which Hawaii was the center of the surf/dive culture and of which the water activities that still define Hawaiian culture.
